School Based Education
Caring Unlimited provides informative, engaging, and current trainings designed specifically for educators, administrators, and students.
School-Based Educators are available to collaborate with teachers and faculty, present information about dating violence to students, and work with students as peer educators and activists.
classroom presentations
Classroom presentations provide grade-level appropriate activities in compliance with Maine learning standards to engage students as they learn the dynamics of dating abuse, how to help a friend, and more.
Presentations are tailored to the student group’s size and needs including: individual classes, and grade level or whole school assemblies.
faculty/ staff support
Consultation and training about domestic and dating violence including how to recognize it and what to do about it.
Consultation is also available to assist in the creation of a workplace policy on domestic violence.
Direct Support, Safety Planning, and Advocacy
Caring Unlimited Advocates are also available to meet one-on-one with students experiencing dating abuse, and/or to provide individual consultations, support and resources to parents of, teachers, guidance counselors, and/or school administrators who are working with, a student who is experiencing abuse.
